Goals for April

The month of March is nearly over. I have decided to write out my goals for the month of April. Some are simple; others, not so much. All are attainable. Hopefully come the end of April I will remember to revisit my goals and chart my progress.

Goal #1: Be better about taking my supplements. Especially remembering to take my fish oil and magnesium daily.

Goal #2: Exercise more regularly. I felt better when we were going to the gym at least 2x/week. We have slacked off. My goal for April is to make 12 visits to the Y.

Goal #3: Quit drinking pop. I know it is bad for me.  Really, I do. I am stuck in a vicious cycle of drinking pop to help (usually temporarily) my headaches. I know it isn’t a long term answer, so I need to make some changes.  I have decided to try to drink coffee or chai tea for my caffeine fix. Yes, I can admit that it is just that, a fix.

Goal #4: Sew something for myself. I am thinking about a retro styled dress or a halter dress. But first I need to finish up the quilt I started last fall. I guess that is what I will be sewing for myself.

I am also contemplating doing 30 days of photos, but I don’t know that I am ready to take that plunge.

About carrie

I am a mother of two, wife and professional. I work; I sew; I do crafts; I cook; I support my family; I race; I live. I have been diagnosed with Chronic Migraine Headaches and I refuse to let them control my life. I live my life to the fullest and try to find ways to enjoy it as much as possible. I am living with a plethora of food sensitivities. But I am living life. I am enjoying life.
