30 day challenge…I am thankful for: Day 10

Day 10 of my 30 day challenge. I am doing better than I did on 30 days of dresses :).

Today I am thankful for an evening with friends. We spent the afternoon/evening at the Land O’ Lakes Region Banquet. I was honored to present Brent with Club Racing Rookie of the Year. It was fun keeping it a secret from him. I also presented the Team West Award. I was honored with a special service award from the RallyCross Community for what I do. I am humbled and honored to have been chosen as the Ron Mann Award winner for contribution to the club.

It is always fun to get dressed up, too. I wore the Bettie Paige dress I purchased over the summer, with a crinoline purchased off Ebay. The shoes are some I have had for quite some time. The stockings are from Via’s Vintage, a GREAT local vintage shop in Uptown. They are back seam. The hat is also from Via’s. It is a vintage 1940s hat. I LOVE IT!!! I got a ton of compliments on my look. It was so fun to dress up and get recognized for it. I am thankful for the compliments, too 🙂
