Today, I am thankful for the right, the duty and the ability to vote. I will be casting my ballot on many issues today, from president all the way down to city council and school board. In Minnesota we are voting on two constitutional amendments. Amendment one will define marriage in our constitution as the union between a man and a woman. Amendment two will require photo ID for voting. I am not going to get into my political views here. I am so thankful that I have a voice. That I can vote. I am thankful for all of the men and women who have served our country to give us these rights. What ever way your political leanings are, go out there and vote. If you don’t vote, don’t bitch about the government, laws and policies.
