30 Day challenge: I am thankful for…driving skills

Today on my way home from my BOTOX injections for my migraines, I nearly rear-ended the car in front of me on the freeway when traffic came to a grinding halt. Thankfully I was paying attention and could tell that my car wasn’t going to stop in time. Instead of rear ending the car in front of me, I went onto the shoulder and was able to safely stop. While there were several drivers who gave me dirty looks and made obscene gestures, I know that I did what I needed to do. I am so thankful for my DH and our good friend M for the driving skills that I have. Had I not spent as many hours in the car with these two “instructors” I would have most certainly been in a multi-car pile up.
